Agreement
These Terms govern your access to www.aljamharah.com (and related branded properties we operate) as well as pre-contract enquiries and informational use of Al Jamharah materials made available online. Separate written contracts govern specific export sales, quotations accepted in writing, and delivery arrangements once agreed.
By using the site or submitting an enquiry you confirm that you understand that website content—including product summaries and logistics descriptions—is illustrative and subject to verification in commercial correspondence.
Eligibility and acceptable use
Use of the website is restricted to lawful business communications. You agree not to attempt unauthorised access, distribute malware, harvest data systematically without permission, or misrepresent affiliation with Al Jamharah.
We may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably believe these Terms or applicable laws are breached.
Products, specifications, and availability
Product descriptions emphasize halal compliance, sourcing standards, packaging, and temperature regimes routinely applied in premium meat export—but final specifications are subject to prevailing supply, certification attestations received at shipment, mutually agreed schedules, and any force-majeure or regulatory interruptions affecting Kenyan or destination markets.
Quotes, pricing, and orders
Quote requests transmitted through the website do not constitute a binding sale. Binding obligations arise only upon written acceptance of an offer—including agreed Incoterms, quantity, specification, documentary requirements, pricing, currency, payment terms—and where applicable issuance of contractual documents referencing those terms.
Prices may change prior to acceptance because of livestock markets, freight surcharges, or regulatory fees.
Payment and delivery frameworks
Payment schedules, invoicing, retention of title, titles and risk passing under chosen Incoterms, inspection rights, shortages, reinspection, insurance minimums, demurrage, documentation, phased shipments, netting, AML/KYC and sanctions screening confirmations, freight handoffs and cold-chain evidence are governed exclusively by executed commercial instruments for each transaction—not by this webpage.
Marketing timelines are indicative until confirmed contractually.
Intellectual property
Trademarks, logos, brochures, downloadable specification sheets where we assert ownership, photographic assets, typography, bilingual copy decks, informational QR landing pages tied to our brand and domain names we control remain ours unless expressly licensed.
You shall not systematically scrape content, circumvent technical controls aimed at unauthorised extraction, impersonate authorised partners, misrepresent certifications or cold-chain conformance, nor republish extracts in a misleading or disparaging manner.
Press or promotional uses require prior written permission where feasible.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The website and illustrative downloads are supplied "as is" / "as available" to the maximum extent allowable.
To the extent permitted under Kenyan law, Al Jamharah and its directors, officers, employees or agents exclude liability for indirect, consequential, punitive or special losses arising only from exploratory website browsing, incomplete forms not yet executed as contracts, illustrative collateral not cross-checked against operative trade documents—or similar except where Kenyan law forbids exclusions (for example wilful misconduct or legally non-waivable claims).
Where no separate fee-bearing digital service attaches, aggregate liability stemming solely from such informational site use shall be limited appropriately as Kenyan law recognises; substantive export deals carry their own remedy clauses.
Governing framework and notices
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya unless mandatory consumer-protection rules elsewhere apply to individuals not acting commercially.
Notices referencing site-level matters may be sent to info@aljamharah.com. Export-specific notices follow contract channels.
We may revise these Terms; continued use after posting updates where legally sufficient constitutes acceptance of changes affecting site usage.
